Most companies have used a spreadsheet at some point to estimate their work. How many times has the spreadsheet been wrong? Links broken, costs missed due to some other error, or too much cost due to a math error?
What about rounding errors? When your bid has to be corrected because of a rounding error, that not only makes the generator of the bid look bad, you can also lose a bid because of it.
With our established, tested, vetted and accurate spreadsheet, you will be able to use crews to estimate labor and equipment costs. Materials don’t have to be added in any particular order, although that helps with verification, the last minute add or cut will not be missed!
Markups can be the same for every item or different. Would you mark up a subcontracted line or lines of work that were half the job the same amount as your own work? You’ll be able to mark up those items differently.
